Where oh where has the summer gone?

I honestly can't believe we are here, end of August. It certainly has not been hot enough from my perspective. Certainly not sunny enough.

Anyway, the fall is approaching. Cd is coming aong and preparations the new service I am apart of (the well) are in full swing. Not rest, well, lot's of work shall we say.

Set Back

So I was working on the last chart for my CD last night for my bass player and I found to my dismay that all of the drum tracks for the song had been deleted. Very disappointing, and expensive really. Not the kind of data you want to lose.

It had to have happened recently, so I am going to check and see if I can recover the files, but I do not hold out much hope. In essence, if I do not find them, my CD just got one song smaller. Severe bummer.

House Cleaning

I am really excited about how things are shaping up for the fall with music, several things coming together including the constantly being pushed back CD release, helping witht he music at the well and a couple other ventures taking shape.

In the midst is the clean-up. A year after moving in I am finally getting to the office, new paper shredder in hand, it is time to turn the office/studio into the creative oasis I need to forge ahead into new worlds of music production.
