Living a Simple Life

I have been struck for some time by this concept: living a simple life. Conceptually, the less things we have to maintain, pay for etc. the less we have to work to sustain it. Moreover, when large amounts of money aren't required, lower paying careers that garner more satisfaction come into play. The issue I think is, where does your fulfillment come from, humanly speaking? The deeper question might even be, what values from society are good ones?Education (costs), personal development of oneself and your children (costs), information (generally costs - even if it is just the internet and a computer - yes simplicity might lead you to no computer and a library card).

Anyway, this is a journey I feel like we as a family have started walking down to some degree. I will let you know if anything interesting develops. In the meantime, here is a blog about the subject.
