Never underestimate the power of the art you create. Great art has a habit of lasting, and of trying to find ways to come out into the light. The only cautionary tale there is to be responsible. Make sure it is something that you believe you can be proud of forever. Incremental creation builds into a substantial body of work, and you may be surprised what rises to the top.
